For the first time in weeks, I had the radio on at Drive Time. It got turned off after half an hour. What absolute rubbish she spouts in her over exitable way. Does anyone find her the least bit entertaining?

This sexist pig thinks she's easy on the eye, doesn't really work for radio though. :-)

I think she's quite fun. I don't listen to R2 much now, but I enjoyed listening to her once last week.
shes ok

She really grates on me. She is like a female Chris Evans. Come back Simon Mayo.
Nooo! SM was tedious. Those silly confessions with his sycophants pledging forgiveness or not. No thanks.
Simon Mayo was awful...but I have noticed that people get used to someone they listen to regularly and tend not to be fond of their successor.....until they get used to that persons style. The worst person by many miles on R2 is the appalling Jeremy Vine......terrible whining voice and such nonsense spouted.
Simon Mayo was understated, gently, soothing and funny. Cox is the antithesis of all those things and a sad reflection on the state of R2.
I have only listened to snippets so my impression maybe unfair but I don't like her playlist. If I wanted to hear most of that stuff I'd tune to R1.

I don't agree about Simon obviously. I never found him boring. But agree about Jeremy Vine. Perhaps I just don't like silly giggly presenters like Evans and cox who continuously talk about themselves and their families and try to be amusing. At least I can still listen to Ken Bruce in the morning with his nice calm approach and more adult sense of humour. Each to his own though. Good job we are all different.
I agree with you NellieMay, Ken Bruce is the only one I can listen to for any length of time. The rest, including Jeremy Vine, seem to imagine their audience are seven year olds, they are so puerile.

Agree completely with Zaks Master.
I was a regular R2 drive time listener, only for half an hour or so in the mornings, but no longer. I have tried listening to Sarah Cox a couple of time just to make sure I have given her a go, but its just noise. I miss it, but I have switched to the local rubbish rather than hers.
I agree Simon Mayos drivetime was entertaining. I dont bother to listen to it at all now. Theres no comparison.

Its not only me then! Thanks for all your comments.

The BBV does love regional accents - makes them feel that the plebs north of Watford feel 'involved', but that's really the only excuse i can think of for employingSC - it's not like she as an interesting thought or opinion in her head to share, otherwise i am sure she would.
She is a bit over excitable, but I prefer her to Zoe Ball. Agree about the awful Vine the Whine. Ken Bruce by far the best, god help us if they ever take his programme off.
What happened to Sarah Kennedy? She was fun.
I haven't listened to Radio 2 for a few years now, Simon Mayos' Drivetime was ok IMO. As for SC... I could take her on the BBC red button (Eighties show) before 'ooooh' Gary Davies took over but must admit I wouldn't and don't listen to her on the radio.
Sarah Kennedy seemed to mysteriously disappear a few years ago; we came back from holiday one September and she'd gone with no explanation on the BBC website. She'd had quite a few breaks due to illness and rumour had it that the BBC had sacked her.
Andy Hughes what was really telling was that on the 100 top dogs programme Sarah Cox seemed to have suddenly lost her extreme regional accent - it drives me mad and I am sure she is actually putting it on most of the time (whether that is what she is told to do I am not sure).
