"but more controllable " How do you know? Addiction is addiction.. If anything it's not more controllable because access to food is legal and easy where as cocaine it is not. Double standards alert IMO. However, jordy i do not think that's a suitable BA, but thats just me.

People have addictions for so many reasons, but it's always to fill some sort of void in them and until you understand and deal with that it's pointless to try to treat the addiction. I know someone recently, they were sent to rehab and bunked off 3 days later to god knows where but they blew it and eventually that too becomes a habit.
I hope things work out for Daniella Westbrook, she's got some public support behind her at least and she seems like most addicts to be a nice person underneath it all.

I can think of many people with addicts (homeless) who deserve the opportunities that Daniella has had, yet she keeps failing herself. These people who never get opportunities are judged and ignored whilst we cater to this celebrities emotions?
Seems like a giant double standard to me i'd rather be honest about it than signal a virtue.

Hopefully on one of the chances she'll succeed Jordy, it's such a hard thing. My Dad tried several times before he kicked his demons sufficiently that they no longer had the power to exert that sort of power over him and then he could tackle his addictions. That was before I was born but none the less, without non judgemental support he's happy to tell you he'd never have managed it, so all you can do is support people trying to deal with things.
