Are The Media Showing An Un-Level Playing Field Over This New Zealand Atrocity?

Mention of the rise of the Far-Right and criticisms against Tommy Robinson, President Trump and White supremacy etc.
They never pointed the finger at Islam per-se or the rise of Islamic terrorism in our own country, after the terrorist attacks here and those in Europe, no what we did hear, that these were carried out by not real Muslims but lone radical Muslims.
We also didn't hear the same sympathetic response of our terrorist attacks from our Muslim communities, as the West is now rightly showing over this latest News Zealand attack.

As a white person I take offence at being linked to 'WHITE' supremacism, just as I suspect that Muslims would at being linked to Islamic supremacism.

You could say that never is a good time to speak about an uncomfortabl e truth. The level of horror is perhaps magnified where live streaming is concerned. However, I and most people, would have no intention of watching such footage but murder is murder and when we have situations where we have beheadings, vehicles being driven into pedestrians, people being...

I can never remember similar reporting of the World's response to the large number of terrorist attacks carried out in the name of Islam, as we see here over this attack on Muslims.

Does it bother you that the attacker was white, while most of the victims weren't?
If the roles had been reversed, would you have been critical of the media for hiding the colour of the attacker?
Does ethnicity actually matter, or is the real story that dozens have been murdered by an extremist with access to weapons?

Interesting question.
What annoys me more where Islamists have carried out atrocities is there is often much debate around the failure of our Intelligence Services who had them on our radar but 'slipped through the net' rather than strong condemnation of who has committed the offence and why.
In other words, where does the real fault lie and who is really to blame?

"This horrible massacre had nothing to do with skin colour, more to do with misguided revenge against the Islamic faith."
'In a 74-page manifesto, believed to have been written by Tarrant, he describes anti-immigrant motives, saying the victims were a “large group of invaders” who he says “seek to occupy my peoples lands and ethnically replace my own people (sic)”.'

As a white person, I don't think I am being linked to white supremacism and therefore I don't take offence.
> just as I suspect that Muslims would at being linked to Islamic supremacism
The phrase Islamist terrorism is often used, which is also fair enough.

This attack was made by a white man in a country that is not his on people going about their religious observance.....the fact that he has a problem with immigrants and is of immigrant stock himself does not escape the notice of the rest of the world .. nor that he has taken himself into country that he has little if anything to do with and massacred a very large number of people. These dangerous individuals are not ignored and nor is their insane behaviour where ever it takes place and by which ethnicity they have. I can't read anything by the mail as it's glee in Poo stirring is extremely disturbing to me..... a somewhat dangerous stance for a paper. Of course white on white terrorist attacks have, historically, been reported on
