Well, that scene with Mary and the Urn and running outside screaming was absolutely dire! What were the writers thinking when they wrote that drivel?

I agree, there wasn't much to write home about in either of tonights episodes.
All I want to know is who tampered with the scaffolding on the factory roof! There are plenty of suspects.
i think they were trying to inject a little humour into corrie but went ott.
i think emmerdale and coronatioin street should go to three days a week instead of padding these soaps out with ridiculous story lines
Corrie is on three days a week.
yeh your right thought it was same as emmerdale
Well I thought that the dropping of the urn scene brought some much needed light hearted humour into Corrie. Daft and silly I know but after the dire scenes lately we needed something to make us laugh.
Corrie needs a cull of the cast and some new blood brought in.
Corrie is being 'culled'. Some have gone already.
I watch and enjoy the Classic Corrie on ITV3 in the afternoons. Very different from today's Corrie.
I watched it from its inception and, as you say, it is very different now.
^^^they are bringing some new blood into Norris's house. A black family with a gay son.
Got to try and keep it topical I suppose.
^^^^and wait for it------he plays football!

'Well I thought that the dropping of the urn scene brought some much needed light hearted humour into Corrie.'

Really? Looking into the urn and saying 'Norris?' as if someone was going to answer her? Ridiculous, as was her running around shouting murderer and gold digger!
Mrs Tembe from Doctors is moving in with husband and two sons followed later by a daughter. I'm sure the house was described as a two bedroom on last night's episode- yet another example of the expanding houses in all the soaps.
Kathyan---I did say it was daft and silly. Not to be taken seriously .
Question Author
It isn't even funny though is it?
Kathyan, I don't think Andres meant that it was funny when he said daft and silly.
Daft yes, but hilarious when she peered into the urn and said 'Norris'? Would have been even funnier if he had come in the door behind her and said 'yes'?
OMG those scenes last night with Mary and Freda really got up my nose ! Mary is such a great character and they gave her all those ridiculous lines and I am also sick to death of Gemma and Chesney, they have made Gemma ridiculous now also, or should I say more ridiculous !
Agree totally, hereIam. Mary and Gemma used to be such lovable characters. Now they are just annoying.
Whose ashes are supposed to be in the urn?
