Jeremy Kyle Show Cancelled

Just heard on the radio that the JK show has been cancelled as one of the participants died shortly after recording. ITV have announced an investigation and it is feared it may never return. Anyone on here miss it if it vanishes?

Don't watch it anyway. Just gives the host the opportunity to get kicks from having a go at the guests.

So they're assuming that the stress of the show caused the later death then ?

I have never watched it but it is clearly very popular.

The problem with these hard hitting reality shows is that every so often you are going to come across someone unstable no matter how many checks you do. Of course not sure exactly what happened here but it would not surprise me to be along those lines.

Ducksie; "it did help 'some' people" - "a lot of good for 'most' people". Can't have it both ways and i wonder just how many people it did actually help. The fact that some agreed to go on drug/alcohol/anger programmes while the camera was rolling but how many changed their minds afterwards. And what about the DNA tests that didn't go the way some couples had hoped. What damage might they have done?

yes the central question is - why do trailer trash queue up to appear on the show with the usual litany of complaints such as : "my auld boyfriend stole me mamz dinner money"--- and

it may be nothing much, maybe he (was it a he?) just got into some sort of shouting match and the producers thought this wouldn't be appropriate for his last words.

I would not miss this show...I think it is revolting and I think the same about Jeremy Kyle...I remember an episode I did see when he told a couple...girl only 16...to go and make their own baby after it was discovered said young man was not the father of another girls child..I wonder what he would have said if his 16 year old daughter was told to go and get pregnant. Appalling 'show'

This program is synonymous with sun reading thickish C3s. Never like to see car crashes either.

I usually have the TV on in the background of an afternoon and often listen to the rows on Jeremy Kyle which make me laugh! I noticed it wasn't on today so checked the rest of the week. It's not on tomorrow either, but says it's on on Wednesday and the rest of the week, but this may change. Didn't know why it wasn't on until I saw this thread.

Could be a suicide and they need to look at the advice / support given if the eprson had a phtysoiacl or mental health issue

It's the television equivalent of going down to Bedlam to poke the lunatics through the bars.

It makes a deal of 'helping' people because it infers that it is not the irredeemable mockery of socially inadequate people parading their dysfunctional lives for the entertainment of others - but it is anyway.

Posted a long post and the AB DISSED ME..CURSES. Not a good show BUT has its uses. The chavs deserve a voice albeit their strange speak.... JK makes his money on this show..who wouldn't it if offered?

The death might be quite unrelated to the programme ....tho.' might be intentional who knows? Does it matter? It happened a WEEK later....natural or not..it wasn't directly to the prog surely! Life is at it should be....que sera sera??? Baggage is summat I don't want ...KOKO and choose for yourself guys,,.good luck xxxx
