How about just not watching them and let others enjoy them?
Makes no sense to me but ITV can do what they want.
As people are happy to actually pay to watch a lot of BBC carp these days perhaps the BeeB can pick up the pieces.

We need to get rid of all this crap on telly that's been droning on for years.
I don't see the connection between a show that has been cancelled because one of its guests killed himself, and soap operas.
"We need to get rid of all this crap on telly that's been droning on for years."

Why??
Try using the on/off button teacake.

Well if you spend all day on AB, you wouldn't understand. :)
"We need to get rid of all this crap on telly that's been droning on for years."

Remember one mans crap is another mans entertainment. Why should you dictate what other people watch?

If ITV get insufficient viewers they will pull a programme as advertising revenue would not be there to sustain it.

There are a multitude of channels these days use use the channel changer, you dont even have to get up to do it these days!
I understand free choice.
The OP hasn't yet realised that taste in TV programmes is subjective...one person's "rubbish" is another's " must-see".
And I think in your excitement you may have not listened to the full statement from ITV who have said they will be working with Kyle on other shows.

So Jeremy Kyle v2 to your screens shortly!
What about all the crew who have just lost their jobs?
the man is a complete snake. in 1999 Birmingham radio station BRMB married 2 complete strangers on air/online. the couple split soon after because it turned out the bride contestant had been having an affair with Mr Kyle, then a BRMB DJ known as "Jezza".
ummmm - // What about all the crew who have just lost their jobs? //

These show are usually produced by production companies who contract in the crew, who will have their contracts honoured.
I second your proposal
Sorry Andy, I didn't realise you'd read their contracts.
If you hate a programme what the hell difference does it make to you if it's on or not, just don't watch. Personally I think this is a shame and overkill.
ummmm - // Sorry Andy, I didn't realise you'd read their contracts. //

Clearly I haven't.

What I said was, these shows are 'usually' produced by an independent production company who contact staff in to make them, but obviously I don't know if this is the case here - but it's a logical assumption, which is how it was offered.
A question or three Teacake........if Coronation Street and Eastenders were both removed today what difference would it make to you? Would your life be better? Would you be happier and if so why?
I watch neither programme...that they are shown and many enjoy them passes me by.......but I think it's really odd that you want the enjoyment of those who do watch to end.......what am I missing?.....Four questions then... :-)
