https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7038995/Ulrika-Jonsson-reveals-did-not-sex-husband-Brian-Monet-eight-years.html I certainly don't think this was fair on her ex husband, and I suspect deep down she has serious issues about men. What do you think?

Not at all. It was her own experience of the menopause and has not criticised him as far as I can see.

So it doesn't matter if her hubby is mortified to have it made public? And her kids?
I think other peoples' sex lives are none of my business and i really don't want to know any details.
(but I think the shoes they are both wearing -in that link- are daft!)
I suspect they know her well, dd :-). She is a celebrity... nothing is private unless she chooses it to be.
Grossly unfair but she has always been a publicity hound. The article says it had nothing to do with her menopause. I feel very sorry for the man.
She must have a book coming out or summink.
...in addition, people like her (Anthea Turner's another) those with a very limited ability to do anything worthwhile, need to keep their names publicised- however they do it- toearn a living.
Maybe prudie, but she has been on TV several times recently, describing it as a symptom of the menopause, which we all know it is.
I never understand why people broadcast details of their personal lives. I guess some just can't help themselves.
No... but it is her job.
She doesn’t seem to be blaming him, just says it was because they were different sorts of people. Why would he be mortified if it wasn’t his fault?
Broadcasting details of her personal life is her job? How?
Especially on AB. I mean who gives a damn?
Three topics that were never up for discussion years ago were Sex, Politics and Religion . Nowadays what do people discuss all the time ---Sex,Politics and Religion. I feel sorry for the husband and no way should she have told the world about their private sex life. I don't care who she is . She must have had an awfully long menopause if that's the excuse she's making.
She is a celebrity, naomi. Which means all and any publicity earns money.
That was to Naomi at 1642.
I haven't seen her on TV recently and yes it is a symptom but this article says they stopped having sex before her menopause and no suggestion that it was her saying no - the implication is clearly (to me) that it was him who had lost interest. Whatever, what a way to knock a man down in public. Maybe (more than likely) he had problems.
Pixie, other people seem to manage without doing it.
Most of us do, naomi... but some people earn their living by it. Maybe so, prudie, then it seems she is changing her mind about it a lot. I don't see that it is insulting to a man to say he has lost interest in sex, though.
Knowing the way nasty PR machines work I would say that it's a cynical attempt to deflect something negative about her she's afraid that her husband might let slip, then if he does she can deny it absolutely and say it's his sour grapes because she made him look less of a man. That coupled with the fact that she's a shameless media *** and the Daily Wail etc is all over them like a flaming rash it's just going to be a nice titilating little earner for her, even if initially she has to pay them for coverage ( not likely in this case because the comments haven't been moderated- usually a pay the mail for exposure you get to moderate comments). Yukk in any event.
