Was it really awful or did I let my dislike of Julie Graham cloud my judgement?

I think it is a bit dragged out -- three hours is far too long for this basic storyline.
I like Julie Graham, I can't stand Tamzin Outhwaite.Didn't like her in Eastenders either. Now Mark Strong is delicious....don't know why, just love him.
I just don't believe in the relationship between Mark Strong and Tamsin Outhwaite (who I've never liked in anything) I don't think it's been developed enough to believe he'd give up everything for her and she didn't seem madly in love either. Even the sex scene seemed a bit weak- I could have done better than that!
I think Julie Graham was the best bit about this Drama! And the music of course (which I have just discovered is Kate Bush)

Thanks all. I'm no fan of Tamsin either but at least I find her more bland than irritating & I didn't want to sound too negative!
valsuey I think Mark S is probably what kept me watching.....
md&m I couldn't believe they'd put the sex scene together with the Bolero - it was cringingly awful! I had to pick up my tv mag to check whether it was billed as a comedy drama!.... I've put your name forward to itv to star in the next sexy drama btw!

Think I'll watch tonight to see just how low it can go - wife & mistress becoming bosom buddies? Not in my experience!

It was really awful !!

Bring back Vincent on Monday night's.

Oh dear, glad I missed it now!
I totally agree with mydogsand me. It just wasn't believable enough, you didn't see enough of the initial attraction build up etc.. And yes the sex scenes were dire!
I must be the only one that found it really good then?
thanks Robinia! I'm actually doing drama classes so watch your telly for me!

bamberbar it's (Kate Bush) This Woman's Work but you've probably already found out. It was the best thing about the whole drama.

md&m - how are we going to know it's you?..... I know, you'll have to get the AB logo tattooed on your bottom!
It didn't get any better did it? Stairway to Heaven for the wedding? Oh dear!

wasn't a huge fan of julie graham but i am now. Tamzin outhwaite was brilliant.
