I've never like Top Gear. However, for a future programme I would like to see the Three Musketeers, Clarkson, May and wotsisname, stand outside Anfield and try to sell tickets for a Man Utd game, or
vice-versa. I know, they don't do TG now, but they've had to run for their lives a couple of times haven't they? What do you think?
Perhaps, at the age of 71, Eddie Jordan has decided that chasing around the world to film the series is a little too much like hard work for him? He seems to be backing the new presenters anyway:

Se here re Matt LeBlanc's reasons for leaving:

I’ve only watched one episode after Clarkson, Hammond and May... with Le-Blanc, Evans and co... I wasn’t impressed but if a new bunch will give it another try.
I used to like Top Gear with Clarkson and his cronies, was amusing, don't bother watching it anymore.
Sick of the sight of Flintoff and McGuinness.
I have always thought Top Gear was a more expensive, and dislikeable, take on Last Of The Summer Wine - three men old enough to do better pratting about like overgrown children.

I never liked any of the presenters, individually, or collectively, and I have never watched more than a few minutes, so I don't feel remotely drawn to the same old same old with different people.
My sentiments exactly,Andy.
Well said, Andy; my feelings entirely.
