Just watched the final episode. What a pleasure this series was, and proof that the BBC can, if it really tries hard, produce programs of quality.

I’ve just watched the last part of this.
In 1989 Mrs Thatcher said “We have not successfully rolled back the frontiers of the state in Britain, only to see them reimposed at a European level, with a European super-state exercising a new dominance from Brussels.”
Even 30 years ago, she could see what was coming.
And here we are now with a bunch of insincere, Muslim hugging, career chasing back stabbers vying to lead this country.
Bernard Ingham remains fiercely loyal, doesn’t he?
