I wonder how disappointed production will be when they realise I have zeros resemblance to the actress I am standing in for?

I even have to wear her costume clothes but I might have put two stone on from my profile info (I haven’t but I might have wobbled a bit lol)

Strange world.

strange question ....
Wear a picture hat.
Who are you standing-in for
why would resemblance to another actress be an issue? You're presumably not playing her, you're playing a character?

Since I don't know what you look like, either now or in the picture you sent in, or who the actress is you are standing in for, the short answer is, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
in that case I'd definitely be demanding my money back!
Joanna was once asked...

Who would play you in the film of your life?

Her reply...

A Nick Park claymation.

I'm sure you'll do fine.
My father, a serving Police Constable, was a stand-in for Sir Larry in the 40's production of Henry V. Originally he was allowed,by the then Commissioner of Police to volunteer, along with a load of other coppers, to play crowd extras in the battle scenes. My father's appearance bore a striking resemblance to Larry and stood in for him in the Boars Head scene and a couple with the herald Mountjoy whilst Larry was filming elsewhere.
As long as you can do a scouse accent you should be OK.
Retro saw that film on a class outing just after it came out.
Quite innotive for it's day considering lack of manpower and resources during the war wasn't it?

I meant in the film industry obviously.
I like your honesty, cassa:)

Can you imitate her at all - speech, mannerisms etc.?

Otherwise I would say enjoy the experience and make the role your own. Hope you have some time to trim down a wee bit. Good luck.
