Good Morning Early Birds!

Friday. No stars out to play. We're in for some rain today, or so the weather app on my wee Kindle says. Rather today than tomorrow.
Just the usual running around today, then the mammoth task of tidying my desk, can't see the top of it. That's a couple of hours taken care of!
Have a happy day everyone.

OH finishes at 12:30 on Fridays. We'll probably go and look at stuff this afternoon - kitchens, bathrooms, tiles ... that sort of stuff.
I'm off the Krakow Tuesday, with Aushwitz booked for Wednesdsy.
And Stinkit is in a good mood this morning! xxx

Sorry, Morning Danny!
WBM, regarding the death camps, I agree. I am reading a lot of books and watching various docuseries at the moment on the holocaust, rise and fall of the Nazis and the survivorship and resettlement of the Jews. Far from being a 'sick, perverted tourist" I am actually interested in every aspect of that part of history and believe the horrors of that age, the losses and sacrifices of the brave and the persecuted should never be forgotten.

Morning, Minty. Great to see you xx
Margo, we're staying between the old town and the Jewish Quarter. I'll let you know what my accommodation was like when I get back.
A friend at work went a couple of months ago and she absolutely loved it. She lent me her pocket guide. I can't wait to sample the pierogi ...

That would be great, it's always good to get first hand information from someone who's been. We go on a city break in May with the other members of our guiz team (the old gits) Prague,Budapest, Lisbon, Madrid, Seville and Split so far. Krakow has been on the list for a while now and Wizz Air have just started flying there from our local airport so now is the time.
Hello Minty I hope you're feeling better

That's interesting, Margo. Which out of those would you say was your favourite? And which would you recommend for those who like sightseeing, cuisine, scenery, atmosphere, etc?
I will certainly report back on Krakow and I highly recommend you add Munich to the list. We came back 6 weeks ago and it was an amazing place.
