Anyone agree Netflix is a boon to those who think most of the television programs are krapp,it’s also great for travelers home and abroad,
There are such a variety of choices, some great, some ok ,and some not so good, but still in my opinion value for money,

And how do you know that Mamy?
To the best of my knowledge AB Editor will not be on duty right now.
Chortlesplutters. :-)
You couldn't make it up really. Earlier on we heard praises sung about the wonderful advantages of Ipads over TV sets when on holiday.
Seems there has been a glitch on a Ipad. :-) Never mind. Open a bottle of Raki.
Most of the shows you’ll see my left elbow are on either Netflix or Amazon. I’m just too tight to get either as we pay a fortune for Sky.

DD is thinking of getting Netflix so I might get to see my left elbow soon.

Actually other than something like The Crown (back of my right shoulder) and Jack Ryan (back of my legs and top of my end) I don’t know what’s on either streaming service.
I know a number of people including family who enjoy what Netflix offers, I personally haven't got it yet.
What's Jack Ryan doing round the top of your end , or should I not ask?
Appears very elastic . A contortionist perhaps?
Ha ha. Top of my head. They were using a drone for filming.

TBH I don’t know why they had us in that day. They were filming a chase sequence with a drone on the roof of Summerset house and we were sat in the ‘ open air cafe’ they had set up in the courtyard.

And the back of my legs at Liverpool’s Street station.

Retrocop you’re sniping and sarcasm no longer works I refuse to rise to your endeavours to bate me have a nice life.
Netflix's tiime may be limited. Lots of other studios and companies are planning to open streaming sites to provide competition for Netflix and Amazon. Netclflix has already lost the righs to its most popular show, Friends.
Thing is with Friends...most people have watched them all more than once. I've never watched it on Netflix.
it's been their biggest draw all the same, ummmm. Warners have bought it up for $85m a year so they obviously think it still has an audience

Netfix, Amazon, Youtube etc etc...who needs the Blatantly Biased C&*%s and their tax..oops, licence fee ?..

most people are totally clueless as to the amount and variety of content that can be found on Youtube..they think its just PewdiePie and cute kitten vids..

The Steaming Service market is in a period of great change at the moment. Netflix and Amazon are ruling the roost at the moment, but that is all about to change. Disney+, CBS, Warners and (shortly) Apple all have better services on offer.

// Seems there has been a glitch on a iPad //

The iPad didn’t glitch, the OP posted in the wrong section. Human Error not iPad malfunction.
Jno,

// Warners have bought it up for $85m a year so they obviously think it still has an audience //

Warners already own it. They licensed it to Netflix. To get the rights back, one section of Warners out bid other streamers. The £85million is a book keeping number, not real money. It is £85M expenditure in one column, and £85M income in the next column.
I have moved this thread into the category "Media & TV".
I often wish I had Netflix, I would particularly have loved to see Afterlife with Ricky Gervaise, I heard so many glowing comments about it.
