Anyone here fancy a chat about the circle?

I'd love to see how people feel about Ella, and Sammie.

I personally understand how people feel about Ella. She thinks everyone is her best mate, she is a nice person but this does make people feel like she's playing a bit of a brownnosing game. She stated to camera but not in any sort of chat with anyone that she finds all the lovey dovey a bit sickening and it's not her thing, yet that's all she seems to be doing.

I'm rooting for Sammy, she's (he's) a realist and is playing the game well, being honest to himself and other users, even if she is a catfish.

So it's a case of... goodie twoshoes loving everyone pretending everyones your best friend or a bit of reality.. I'm more for the reality.

Cmon team COT.

Pretty sure Ella has told every contestant past and new that she "Has their back".
I can't help but like Ella and dislike "Sammie". I know that the catfish element is all part of the game but the way that so-called single mum Sammie plays on the sympathies of others does not sit well with me. Who would you like to see win? Sammie?
Question Author
I would like to see Paddy or Georgina win but I fear they've been put on the back burner.
I'm all for peace, love and positivity but life needs balance and I honestly feel Ella is a bit too much at the moment... I'm not for people who are best friends like that with everyone, calling everyone their Baby Girl or MummaBear it is cringeworthy.
I wouldn't mind if Tim won, lovely chap. I also wouldn't mind if Sammie won, He's done well.
I don't think Woody needs to win.. He's the son of FatBoy Slim and he's got what he wanted from the circle already.
I used to like Georgina but I've gone off her - don't know why really. I do like Tim a lot and Woody too though I agree he certainly doesn't need the prize money! I miss Big Brother (yes, I know!!) and The Circle has been a substitute. I will be sorry to see it end.
Question Author
Me too. If you're a fan of big brother you may like Love Island, it's like big brother but they're suppose to get with it but sadly, we're not in the naughtys no more, reality TV will never be as it was, when carphone warehouse sponsored Big Brother.

Georgina's alright, i understand what you mean though but she's been through a lot in life. She cuts through the crap so does Paddy, i rate paddy.
Yep, I wouldn't mind if Paddy won, he seems like a genuine guy. I'm too old for Love Island. All those beautiful sculpted and plastic people irritate me. I'm a miserable old bat! ;-)
Question Author
They do me also! but the girlfriend watches it so I watch it with her :)
Must be love!

Cute
I'll be back to update after tonights episode my opinions could all change
I'm a miserable old bat!

There's nothing wrong with being a bat my dear.

I've never seen the Circle, but blimey... I'm only jealous of those love island contestants... with their prim bodies and high IQ's... it actually scares me.
Question Author
Pooka how are we feeling after last night?

It was a sad blocking. Some would say unfair, others would say all part and parcel of The Circle. What Ella said to camera before she left was 100% right.. at the end of the day, she was buddy buddys with absolutely everyone and people simply didn't like it so they upped their game.

Tim implies the circle has principles but in my opinion, it's a reality TV show / game. The end goal is to win 100K.... Will you play the game or just be yourself and spread a positive message (puke!!)

I'd be going for the money and the money only. Why else would you lock urself in a hotel for weeks if you didn't want to win...
Question Author
Georgina made a big mistake by mentioning COT to Ella when she went to block her. It got very awkward quite quickly and I felt awkward for Georgina, i also very very bad for her that.. she was devastated by her actions and the pressure. That's why it's a game! Not everyone can win, so why be lovey to absolutely everyone it just makes it harder.

If ella was influencer, she would of had to stab someone in the back also, because all she said to people was "bestie" and "i've got your back".
I was disappointed to see Ella go Spath. She's an entertaining character and, I think, a genuine person. The only thing Georgina has going for her is her illness and if I'd had anything to do with it she is the one who would have been blocked. Sammie leaping around in triumph when Ella was blocked left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, I know it is a game but I wonder how the others will react when "she" is revealed tonight.
Question Author
They will be shocked, disgusted and they'd feel betrayed. All part and parcel of the circle.
I do know what you mean, yes i also think ella was genuine i just simply didn't vibe with her. She wouldn't be the kind of person i would hang around with in day to day life but i could see me and Georgina get along. Georgina is 100% genuine. I don't mind who wins now.. as long as it isn't woody.

I want sammie to win it for his mum (i'd do the same)

I want paddy to win it for himself, same with georginia

I want tim to win it because he's just lovely and he'd spend the money on his cats

I don't want woody to win because he doesn't need to, but i'm glad he got as far as he did.
Question Author
I got quite emotional when Georgina got the message form hr mum. That broke me down I could just picture what her mum must have went through whilst Georgina was in the hospital with crohns etc.. Very emotional.
I think that Tim is my winner of choice now. If I had to pick one of them to spend an evening with then he would be the one I'd pick.

I know that deception and manipulation is all part of the game but even so .... what have I missed about "Sammie's" mum?
Question Author
If I had to meet one of them, I'd also meet tim. I feel he's the person i could have the most real interaction with if we say, just met up for coffee.

However if someone was to become part of my circle of friends I feel Georgina would suit the best.
Maybe I don't have the same level of sympathy for Georgia as you do because my nephew has Crohns and has also been hospitalised several times. Why is "Sammie" 'doing it for his mum'?
Question Author
Sammie is doing it for his mum because He feels she's been through so much negativity in her life, he wants to pay his mum back for everything that she's done for him and he just wants his mum to be happy and comfortable. He's getting the money for his family it's quite honourable.

The lad playing sammie chose sammie because his mum was a single mum, supporting him totally on her own. This is why he feels he can connect with sammie but more so charlie, her kid.

It's honourable. If i could give my mum 50K i would.
I'm sure you would, but I am still not impressed by Sammie. We have all had negativity (I am still having it) in our lives. Sorry but he gives me the creeps.
I didn't watch last year how do they decide the winner? Do we get to vote?
