For those of you who might be interested, it's on tomorrow night.

Britain In Colour is a new three-part series airing from tomorrow at 8 pm on the Smithsonian Channel (Freeview 99, Freesat 175, Sky 195 and Virgin Media 295)

Just a note for Freeview viewers who might be looking for that programme:

The Smithsonian Channel is transmitted through the COM7 multiplex, which is primarily used by HD channels (and therefore uses HD technology).

So it's ONLY available to viewers who've got 'Freeview HD' and NOT to people (like me) who've only got ordinary 'Freeview'.

I can only get 6 HD channels...and Smithsonian is not one of them *sob!* Although I was able to get it when I first returned early this year.

If you've got missing channels on Freeview, you're possibly suffering from inadequate signal strength.

If there are channels shown there which you're not seeing in your TV's channels list, purchase one of these

After fitting them, carry out another retune.

I've done the postcode search...that's how I know I only get a measly 6 channels. :(

Wow pasta, do you live out in the sticks? I've just done the search and I get 90 Freeview 15 Freeview HD and 33 radio stations. I can understand now why some people go on Cable TV.
