I don’t watch it all the time but his character does my absolute head in. What on earth does she see in him?? He’s nasty, a bully, controlling....... grrrrrrr!!

He’ll come to a bad end smow, bullies normally do,it’s a bit of a silly storyline though, making her come across as weak and simpering , I hope they ‘kill’ him off and soon

I agree with Bobbs, but this is typical of soaps, they constantly change the characters personalities and Yasmeen really has become the downtrodden little woman! Can't wait for her to get wise and dump him ..

She’s become all simpering and silly. He’s Tim’s dad so I’d love to know what happened to Tim’s mum.

I think this is a great storyline and very real. Yasmin is very insecure after her husband cheated on her and her son died. She is frightened of being lonely and was very happy to get a second chance of love 'at her age' as she sees it. Geoff is knocking her confidence bit by bit and she doubts she could cope on her own. Everyone loves Geoff and Yasmin believes she is lucky to have him. Aliya isn't sure about him but is too wrapped up in her own life and justs wants her gran to be happy. I hope this storyline goes on for a long time because that is how it plays out in real life, the victim doesn't realise what is really going on and becomes more and more dependent, confused and vulnerable. Both of them are acting their parts very well and the scripts are spot on.

I believe the modern term for his behaviour is gaslighting.

All we know about Tim's mum is that her name is Tess and she and Geoff divorced. She didn't have any relationship with Faye and did nothing to prevent her going in to care.

I always thought it was part of the build up to another story line e.g. he was trying to get her to lose her mind and allow him to defraud her in some way.
