Watched the second episode (got the first one recorded for later viewing) and thought it was lovely. The absolute epitome of family viewing.

Was it considered "woke" because the kids were mixed race? If so, anyone upset by that needs to get a ***g life. Flaming idiots.

Besides, Michael Palin makes anything better.

Saw it this evening. Initially though Worzel was being played as an unfriendly humourless character, but as it went on, it was ok. Unsure what the fuss is about.

Well, Mozz, maybe it's considered "woke" for more than that. What about the kids being the future because they will tell us how to sort out the plastics problem and environmental issues (presumably because they're so much more knowledgeable and intelligent than those who have been around longer) ? That sort of moral fingerwagging isn't really appropriate for family entertainment; it's pushing an agenda to impressionable minds.
