Susan Hill's Ghost Story

Haunted House, Ch. 5.
If you watched it, what did you make of it? I was personally disappointed. I really like Douglas Henshall, but he was wasted on this. In my own opinion.

I switched off after a short while. I usually like ghost stories but something wasn’t right about it. Don’t know why.

Not much of a ghost story I didn't think. Quite predictable

I had looked forward to it after reading about it, but was very disappointed.
We lost interest , and turned it off half way through.

I said to my husband after about 25 mins, shall we turn it off? He said we might as well stay with it now. So I did. Didn't do anything for me. Shame, I was looking forward to it.

Yes Mamya. The book was called Small Hand, but was changed for some reason. Anyone who hasn't seen it, don't be put off. Watch it, your opinion might be different from others. :-)

I must say I am a big fan of Susan Hill and I have all her books. This on TV last night was nothing like the story from the book. Very disappointed.

I too like Dougie Henshall, but I thought it was absolute rubbish and only stuck with it hoping for a big twist at the end. Boy, was I disappointed.

I was going to watch on catch up. I noticed the RT review said it strayed from the original storyline. What a shame...why do they do that?
I adore Susan Hills writing also.
