Does anyone understand the last episode of ghost quad? Who was the bent copper and what was Kate guilty of exactly? How was she killed when she arrested the fella and her "back up" came behind her...bit confused

the people in the car that came up behind were the criminal people come to pay them for diverting the policemen away from the real drop point i think. so they killed her coz of her change of heart, thats y he was saying don't do this they'll kill u.

didn't c it all so not sure bout the other bits, but the woman who died was working with the criminals
