Because it is so bad. Last night Jimmy Tarbuck told a joke the wrong way round forgot when the pictures ended , was singing flat and introduced a singer with the wrong name. Frankie Howard act was completely unfunny and Arthur Haynes , Rita Webb did a sketch with JT which was simply dire. Cannot wait for next Sunday, surely it cannot get worse

Peter Brough later appeared on TV with his creation Archie Andrews and became a figure of fun as everyone could see how utterly hopeless he was as a 'ventriloquist'!
