allowed to cancel my contract as they will not be proving what they originally promised. Tennis and darts among other sports shutting down.
Also bets on league championships will they be refunded if the leagues are not completed

This is an interesting question

If the leagues are not completed, can you imagine the amount of legal action against the Premier League and Football League? The leagues will be completed behind closed doors, is my guess.
Liverpool wouldn’t be too happy :-)
Their season’s gone suddenly downhill faster than Franz Klammer...
Rugby League Salford v Wigan is going ahead tonight, and the Catalan Dragons match is being shown on Sky Sports Action tomorrow at 16.55 on the red button but it will be played being closed doors. That's what we pay to watch so no complaints here.
Wouldn't just be Liverpool though, would it. There are clubs vying for European places, fighting relegation, trying for promotion. Some have games in hand on their closest rivals.
I’d imagine that a lot of stuff - that can afford to - will start up again soon behind closed doors. That was the Premier League’s plan anyway before the CloseIt-19 virus struck today and everyone followed everyone else ...
Cancelling the season wouldn’t make any sense.

Mind you ... :-)
Just read that EUFA are considering moving Euro 2020 to 2021 to allow European countries to finish their domestic seasons.
I think one could safely assume that Euro 2020 won’t happen this year
One of the most monstrously overblown tournaments ever anyway.
Sorry slightly off the subject here but it would be interesting to work out the number of games required to eliminate about 6 countries and the number of airmiles racked up in the finals alone.
Anyway, back on track I think you’ve no chance of getting your money back.
Certainly not at this stage
This is an interesting question
depends on the contract terms ( as ever )
and what was said before the contract was struck

so that " I am paying for this contract as I wish to watch ..... and they arent"
puts you in a strong position

whereas "foo! dat nice dat!" doesnt
