Is it me or do others find it difficult to understand what the kids are saying in Corrie? The girl who plays Amy is ok, she speaks loud and clear, but the others, especially Summer just seem to mumble their words and I can't tell what they are saying.I don't watch Emmerdale or Eastenders and wondered what the child actors in those programmes are like?

Amelia Flanagan, who plays April in Emmerdale, is absolutely brilliant. She's now 12 years old and has been in the soap since 2014, one of the Stars of the show in my opinion

I noticed a different actor paying Dev's son- he looks about 3 years older.
I think the kids on the show speak more clearly than most kids do in real life.

I personally think Summer is the only one who mutters, but she does talk very quietly anyway. Don't watch the other soaps.

That is a different actor playing Adil, FF. The original actor decided to leave to concentrate on his exams

I agree with you re Amelia Flanagan a very good actress. Just reading about her and if I am correct in saying the little girl who plays Hope in Coronation Street is her sister, another good wee actress.

Hope and Chesney's son Joseph are Amelia Flanagan's younger twin siblings. I think Amelia outshines them all.

I agree re Summer, she’s a very quite actress but then I can never understand Gail, her voice goes from audible to not all the time

Summer is the gay vicar's (Billy) ward. He took her in when her real Dad died.

Amelia must be a good actress then, because I think young Hope is absolutely superb.

As I have said I don't watch much of the soaps now - particularly that Eastenders (the most depressing, miserable soap of all times).

And when I turn round to Emmerdale very sporadically don't think that little girl Amelia acts as much.

just looking over this post - meant to say that the little girl Amelia doesn't get the (chance) to act more as she should
