We haven’t watched Coronation Street for a while but when we used I remember thinking what a dreadful actor this man was.

Hard to watch last night, I kept muting the sound because I couldn't stand listening to him bullying her. Her acting was superb though. I fear it will only get worse for her, unless the secret recordings are found - surely they will be??

She does not look anorexic. She is naturally slim and lithe, we have just got used to seeing much larger people in society and on tv. She is healthy and fit and plays the part beautifully.

We are going to have a long wait to find out what happens. Her trial has not been filmed yet so could be some time.
He really is a monster he has made it look to all her friends that she is the problem. They all get interviewed by the police to see what they think of her.
If the secret filming is not found she stands no chance

Surely he has to be found guilty of the dreadful abuse he has inflicted on the poor woman. Remember this happens in real life and if the show puts her in prison and he gets off without a blemish, it will most certainly deter any real victim to ever report the abuse.

Thankfully this is soapland and the baddies always get their comeuppance and the goodies are always cleared (eventually, sometimes they have to spend some time in prison).

Good storyline but I have to say I found Geoff's acting rather like a pantomime villain. Hard to take it seriously when he acts like one half of a comedy duo. Still find it hard to understand why anybody puts up with this sort of thing.
