Childhood film, so happy if i knew what its called!

It's an animation, released between 8-10 years ago i think. Kinda like cinderella, this girl with dark hair, wears a red top with jeans. Lives with her step mum whos very nutty! Stepmum has black fluffy hair. The young girl meets this man, i cant remember how, but i remember her falling through a wooden bridge and he saved her. She works in a barn and helps the animal, at one point during the film she finds a musical box which her parents left her, she starts crying and i remember that bit was in slow mo cause i always used 2 try 2 cry and wipe my eyes in slow mo haha! ermm yeh but video got caught up with rubbish 1 day and i've lost it ever since, would be so happy if i saw it again! please help. And i remember at the beginning of the video there was this half naked man whacking this big golden gong, probably the trademark of the people who made it. not sure tho.

The gong banging man is the start screen for Rank entertainment, have a google search for them, somewhere there should be a list of all films / programmes they have released.
