Gone Girl - Film - Spoiler !!

Please don't read on if you are intending to see this film.
I read the book some time ago but watching the film last night I didn't understand a couple of things.
Presumably Amy was pregnant at the end but who was the father ? She hadn't slept with husband had she? Or was it LakeHouse man ?
And when she was holed up in the motel why and what did she do to the other woman's drink ?
I inferred it was something to do with transferring DNA.
I think my brain went into another lockdown.

She was pregnant with Nick's baby, she held back a sample of his sperm from a fertility place and inseminated herself, and she spat into the other woman's drink when she annoyed her about something. She was a piece of work wasn't she !
