It would take wild dinosaurs to make me miss this. Alf Wight used to travel from Thirsk to attend to a cousin of mine's herd. I thought that was amazing because it was a longish way. Preceding the premier is 'The Yorkshire Vet' and Peter, chief vet at Thirsk, was trained by Wight. Casting looks good. Hopes high............... this is, of course always a bad omen....

I like the no swearing aspect of it. It was a pleasant hour. Only six episodes though.

Ms Rigg also always complained about her correspondingly large feet, ladybirder. By the way, it's not just N. Yorks. that is beautiful, lots of the Dales are in W. Yorks. and the East Riding ( where I live in the Wolds) is gorgeous in a gentler way and people generally don't know about it. Phew!

Going up to spend holiday in Northumberland soon. So little time, so many gorgeous places up here. Love Teesdale especially, had a great holiday there.
