It’s the only soap that I watch but I’m thinking of giving up on it. I really don’t like the story lines at the moment. They all seem very depressing, at a time that we need something more cheerful.
i'm not liking the todd story at all, just silly ,i just want the yasmin geoff story done and like you they need more laughs, mary needs a story .
The Todd story is daft. Gary was beaten up with an iron pole, but barely had a scratch on him and was able to walk! Todd keeps appearing halfway down the stairs before anyone is barely out the front door and yet he's supposed to be secreted in the attic! I also know that it must be hard in the present climate to write for the soap, especially when we never see the kids who aren't allowed back on set yet, but are always lurking upstairs, quietly! I'll stick with it though as it's my favourite soap and the only one I watch.
I was almost (but resisted the temptation) to watch it again just to count how many times Todd appeared on the stairs! Ridiculous story lines with all these gangsters and murderers - much prefer the who's knocking off who and who's the daddy storylines.
Like Margie, it's the only soap I watch so am sticking with it. But at the moment it's pathetic. And Todd on the stairs is just laughable!
Lol it seems others agree with me about Todd's constant appearances on the stairs then!
I havn't watched it since Ena Sharples went.
We could have made such sweet music together, her and me...
