I can't find any more info but I'm wondering if it's the same place in Botswana that sanmac posted about earlier this year.
Anybody know?

LB -check out the Djuma waterhole camera ... They have a permanent camera at Gowrie dam, plus two live safari every day, which has been extended since the covid problem to include other game reserves. I've been watching this for years and enjoy it very much

Elephants in the large watering-hole right now.
Question Author
Yep, watching them.
And now on centre-stage we have some type of monkeys.
I don't know if anyone else saw it but last night was the tiniest baby elephant with the group, they zoomed right in to just its head suckling on mother's teat, it was amazing. Later saw the cheetah drinking from the pond. Although it sometimes takes a while to focus in, the quality and resolution is outstanding.
Samnac where is the link please that you say you have been watching , for years ?
'Sanmac' - sorry
Baz if you mean seekerz and the one we're talking about on here then mamya posted it at 20.50
Thanks Prudie

I have opened this link from from sanmac post of 29/06/20

So , where is the action - or is it only certain hours during the day that you see the animals ?
So that's the one sanmac posted some while ago (worth looking at the thread). That camera is fixed on that one place and runs 24hrs a day with occasional blips. I have been watching it daily for some time. Usually you see elephants there all the day and a few antelope types but nothing else apart from birds and millions of flying insects at night. You don't see much at the moment because it's rainy season and the elephants have plenty of other places to go. The camp actually emailed me that when I enquired why there was nothing to see. They should be back by March I gather.
end of the dry season is always best for safaris as the animals have to come to the big waterholes, and there's less vegetation blocking the view.
thanks Prudie
Right now, there is a spectacular lightning show going on.
And a cute lone hyena having a bath....
Question Author
There certainly is. Wow!
He's having fun.
don't think it's lightening looks more like insects ,we get insects (not as many )in front of our cameras
He probably has a date tonight so he's cleaning himself up...Listen to that wind, probably in for a big storm.
There was definitely lightning in the distance prior to the hyena "stealing" the attention of the camera.
Yes the whole sky was flashing up (not the streaks which are insects). I even turned the sound on to listen.
Question Author
I must be looking at the wrong thing because I can't see any Hyena, only a storm. We are at Camp Kazuma aren't we?
