i tend to miss it i confess.
i zipped through it when they showed the audience as my grandaughter won a screen .
its been good in the past, but feel its past its sell by date.
jason mansford has a nice voice
singing?
It is what it is, somehow it keeps going out of a sense of duty. It's all rather stale and perfunctory now.
emmie ,yes singing, he opened the show with a song x
so it would seem, but its in a good cause, is it not?
The Royal Variety Charity assists those who've worked professionally in the entertainment industry and are in need of help. The charity strives to support all those, both young and old, who've worked on the stage, in the wings, in front of a camera, or behind it, as well as all those who have spent their lives working in the numerous support industries dedicated to entertainment.
Cant stand Michael Ball.
I like him but haven't watched the show for a while.
His voice is OK but he comes across as too smarmy.
great voice still. I saw him in the original version of Les Miserables back in 1985, as Marius. wonderful performance
I can’t stand all these warblers. Everyone and the cat thinks they can sing. I used to watch that show years ago. I emphasise used to.
Michael Ball can still sing. Don;t know about Jason, but its for a good cause...
"2 advert tunes"...what does that mean?
No, I didn't watch it. Never have.
it used to be an honour to appear on it, nowadays it seems more like a vehicle for those careers who have perhaps waned a bit...
Well, I watched it and enjoyed it. We don't get enough entertainment shows on TV now. It was a mix of singers and what used to be called 'specialty acts', perhaps singer top heavy, but so are most programmes. I actually liked both comedians too. I'm obviously easy to please or not too fussy!
I found it totally boring. I like Michael Ball though. As for Steps ................. !
