Can anyone name this film that scared the pants off me when I was young?

This film is the reason why I always prop the telephone box door open with my foot when I have to use one. It was a short foreign film about a man who gets trapped in a telephone box. There's very little dialogue in it so I can't remember if it was Spanish or Italian. I thought it was just called 'The Telephone Box' but I can't find it on IMdB.

finally! thankyou. i've been wondering about that film for the last 25 years! i never forget it. i think it appeared on BBC2 one evening as a prelude to a traditional 'hammer horror' night. these things make an impression when u r a 13yo schoolboy.

Hello all, just wanted to say thanks to Boggnish76 for his question, and engligh_phil for the link he provided. I myself was led to this page seeking an answer to the same question. What amused me though, was that this same film clearly affected quite a few people in the same way. I After reading engligh_phil's link, I was surprised by just how much of this film I remembered although I'd have been about 8 or 10 when I saw it. As for Boognish76's comment that he couldn't go in a telephone box without keeping the door open, well Boognish, me too! For many years after actually, and I'd think we were far from being the only ones. Anyway, just ot say thanks, guys! It was reassuring to know that a lot of us, although we may never meet in this life, had the same experiences as kids, I used to love those old horro films which were on late at night, and I remember so clearly watching what I now know is called "La Cabina" at my nana's house late one evening along with some other horror flick.
