Shameless name-drop time -- I've played with or against Jenny, Paul and Anne in quizzes. With Paul Sinha it was a late-night quizzing marathon that I think ran until like 3am or something stupid, and he was just so nice, so congratulatory to everybody when they got a right answer that he missed. Pleased to say that I was on the winning side in team games against the other two as well.

Anyway, all nice people, just need to add Mark and Shaun to my collection, along with new boy Darragh.

I wonder if they all get paid the same? I've said it before, but it bears repeating: the flaw with The Chase is that there is no jeopardy for the chasers - they get their fee no matter what. If we were told that if they lost they would forfeit their fee then they would have some skin in the game, and it would be more satisfying to see them beaten!

I also like them all, I didn't like Jenny when she first started but I think she has relaxed and mellowed since then. I still think Mark is harder to beat than the rest because he is so fast.
I know we've discussed this before but they all seem to be nice unlike the eggheads some of whom I found particularly smug or irritating.

Brainiac //there is no jeopardy for the chasers - they get their fee no matter what. // - well I suspect if they lose too often they'll get the old tin tack so they do have skin in the game, they are also fiercely competitive among themselves and revere the stats.
My favourite is Paul, he's a gent but when the contestants get disrespectful he can put them down with sledgehammer efficiency!
