Robson Green - Hadrian's Wall

I've watched two episodes of this and it is lovely. He has a very quirky sense of humour which makes me smile and it is very interesting regarding the history of the area. Highly recommended. Thursdays Channel 5, 9.00.

I'm no particular fan of either railways or architecture, but am finding The Architecture the Railways Built to be very interesting ...Tim Dunn visits places here and abroad. There was a series last year too.
On Yesterday channel (freeview 26) on Tuesday at 8pm.

I was surprised that they didn't show, or even mention, the replica sections of Hadrian's Wall in turf timber and stone at Vindolanda. They weren't there when I last visited the site and I'd love to see them. I can't think of a better way of showing what Hadrian's Wall would have looked like in its heyday. For me Robson's discovery of a "Roman nail" wasn't terribly interesting (and I am a great fan of archaeology!)
