How did Gail manage to get her legacy from her father's (Ted) estate within about 10 days of him dying, so she could buy the house back?

What happened to the money David was paid when he sold the house to Ray Crosbie? Why couldn't he just buy it back?

brainiac, David had to pay a large chunk of the money he got from selling his house to the mortgage company, there wasn't enough left to buy the house back. No idea how Ted's estate was sorted so quickly but I'm pleased that it was

I don't watch the Corrie repeats on ITV3, but I was flicking channels the other day and guess who was on - Gail's Dad ! He was ill in bed and Gail and her hubby at the time were standing by the bed talking to him. I didn't recognise him at all and I am a lifelong Corrie fan.

David still has the money but Gail told him last night he'd have to pay to have sink hole filled in, also Ted had put his 'house in order ' when he was ill and left ready cash for Gail , as for Gary? I think he's now Jonnys carer , lol
