The parallel of being locked down every day , the boredom is quite astonishing of today with one major difference , no Internet , it's an eye opener of what life was like during the war years

. Most women back then were fantastic at spinning food out and making meals out of very little. We went to school with gas masks slung around our necks. Played out as we usually did. Our lockdown is certainly no big deal compared to the war years.
We have no fear of our homes being bombed, food rationing, Nazi invasion. The list is endless.
I just wish people would knuckle down and stop whinging about it.
Before you have a go at me this is nothing personal to AB people just general moaning about no pubs, holidays etc. The younger generation don't know how well off they are.

Not a good start. Outside drain appears to be blocked as water coming in back door. Son will be here lunchtime so hope he can sort it.
Has kept away a lot as his wife is a nurse at local hospital. Usually I cope fine but can do without this.
