Just An 'Heads Up'
4 Answers
For anyone planning to watch tonight's MOTD. I have no doubt that our match v WBA will be the last shown. While the swirling wind played it's part, a lack of imagination from both sets of players was mostly to blame for quite a dour 0-0. Do yourselves a favour after the penultimate match. Switch off and get to bed. :-(

As i said, the conditions didn't help but professional footballers ought to be able to overcome such obstacles. You were predicting 6 points from these two games a week or so back. Just the 2 points return is nowhere near good enough and i do believe we will have to spring a surprise or two before the end of the season if we are to avoid filling that 3rd relegation spot:-(( I believe Sheff Utd and WBA are beyond salvation.
Wasn’t long ago Ken that you told me I was being a bit extreme when I suggested a relegation dog fight was a possibility.Although Burnley are third lowest scorers I don’t see Newcastle doing enough to put much pressure on but if Fulham’s run continues I think they could make it.How about this as another suggestion,”taxi for Hodgson.”
Regards "taxi for Hodgson" possibly, but tonight's result probably means a stay of execution.
Burnley Football Club are in a perpetual relegation dogfight, grumpy, each and every season. We do not have the financial clout to compete with the majority of others in the Prem.
I never said you were being extreme about our chances of staying up. You were advocating we ought to have fielded a strong side in the cup match. I disagreed, saying we needed all our players fit for the forthcoming scrap. Both you and Gizmo had us pencilled in for six points from the two home games. We got just two - granted with many of our best players missing - and we may not have even got those had we had any more injuries inflicted during the match v Bournemouth.
