I wasn't expecting Oprah to be any good but I was pleasantly surprised actually. She pressed them on questions they were fudging eg security, and picked up on other contradictions in the narrative.

I found myself believing the very specific accusations about what had been said to the pair [they're not that daft to lie about such stuff], but not, for example, the tale that Meghan had no idea about what marrying a Prince might involve. Giveover love. I'd have been googling from morning to night in her place.

I cannot say that I ever was a fan of an American chat show host. They all seem to be more interested in making their own mark above their guests. If only they had studied the performance of the art shown by Michael Parkinson.

However, I do agree with you - tonight's offering was a sham. No less than I was expecting. I have whizzed through the recording of it and found the long pauses and even longer sentences to be boring beyond comparison. I think I will sleep better now as I was yawning my head off throughout the bits I did view ;)

Harry says the royals 'literally cut me off financially'. As the only money he got from the royals was from his father (2m a year) he's blaming Charles. As for being cut off, what did he do with the 27m he's inherited so far - spend it down the arcades? And maybe, now, he'd like to pay the inheritance tax.

She says 'they' wouldn't let her get help for her suicidal thoughts. What on earth could stop her. She's supposedly an adult and if she wanted help she could go and get it. And why didn't Harry just take her?
