Most of the tension had been punctured anyway at the end of episode two, when Brannick shot the man on the island.

I thought it was brilliant, not a show to watch while chatting to someone or making a cuppa, as for the snow, I live in RoI and I can tell you, this morning my friend 7 miles outside of my town had snow, heavy snow, while we had just cold and a bit of rain so the weather here (even if filmed over a few days ) is not the same from one spot to another
