i won't get my second jab till end of April, if all goes according to their plans. so a booster one may not come till late this year, as im not 70

ael - mine too. I'm very near 74. With regular blood tests and booster jabs, my social life will be at the medical centre. I anticipate being locked up again as well!! ;o)

due to my Atrial Fibrillation and Thyroid function i have blood tests to book in the next month so more holes in my poor beleagured veins.
so a jab in the arm doesn't seem so bad, only i don't fancy the same after effects.

as I understand it, they may not be needed. The article pretty much says that if they are needed, then the infrastucture is there.

i think they are being very optimistic - it started at the beginning of december and now we are at the beginning of April (4 months) and only just over half the adult population has had a first dose. The first dose people need to have a second dose, and the other half need to have 2 doses. Where are they going to fit in these boosters?

i have a call on 8th April for AF, anti coagulant team, what a mouthful i guess to check on how the meds are working out.

second round about now and then a booster in Sep by which time the variants ( of now) will be in the syringe

I've just had the test to see if my blood thinners are working OK, plus the cardiac tests. I passed!!!

that's good Apc. I am new to these meds Apixaban but there doesn't seem to be any side effects as yet.

Emmie, I was told that there are so many new antcoags now that they need to check whether you are on the best one for you.

this is a new one apparently, the doctor said it was super safe! - i sure hope so.

I'm on Apixaban. Have been for three years. They didn't check for two years, but then last year these new tests came alone because there are several new drugs. But obviously its ok for me to stay on it. Never had any side effects. But I had a different needle and a deeper jab for Covid because I'm on blood thinners.
