Morning all, seems Boaty is down in the bunker again, fuelling his sleep up.7

Very grey and windy here, the only way being down today as this, apparently, is the warmest part of the day - due to go to 6°C feels like 1°.

Just been caught out for after my laptop issues last week, I hadn't noticed that the time had changed on it and thought that I had picked up an extra hours sleep. Not to be and here I am!

Time to launch the McBoaty.******Ship for this Easter Monday!

i was waiting for boaty this morning, never mind he will be along soon
yesterday was lovely but quite cold and i think today is just going to be cold and grey. No plans other than watch the box later on, how exciting......

Morning Emmie, don't blame him being snuggled up in the blankets/duvet, positively chilly this morning - heaters on, fire to be lit later!
maybe he is having computer trouble again, not like him to be so late.
what you got planned for the day

Same down here, the gardens reasonably busy but not like Saturday when the universe was here - thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the mussels, this time the broth being Rattler cider based.....
sounds nice, the mussels that is.

ablutions, fetch the paper (3.5 miles away), coffee and crossies, then see - maybe my sister is putting on something for lunch but otherwise, it will be a chicken and leek pie...and then the fire lit and see what the box offers up. Tonight, there is the Uni Challenge quiz final on BBC2.

15 minutes to scrub up and remove any beards, anemones and grit, four washes over the morning - and then the cooking was so simple...coriander rather than flat parsley used in the broth...

It's a risk of the trade - last time I had an issue, it was an inn of some repute in Truro....both of us hit, me less so as I got it out of me quick when I realised what was happening. The commonality was the starter 'linguine crab'. I phoned the owner-chef next day and he comped the meal....however, I sensed that he had his suspicion on who it was as to the sous chef who had prepared the dish and that there was a hygiene issue. He was also livid at the waiter, who I had asked to tell him of what had happened as, in my case, it started in the Inn, the first sign being going to the loo and releasing the most enormous belch, worthy of a Cornish fog-horn!

You just have to get back on the bicycle and give it a go. The only thing I am not partial too is jellied or potted seafood like Morecambe prawns and your local eels.
wind has dropped off
sun rise very nice
but chilly
