The finale on Sunday. Will we finally get to know the identity of H, so many theories out there but I still haven't really got a clue. As Hastings would say "Jesus Mary Joseph and the wee donkey, can we move this thing along before it drives us all round the bend". They haven't confirmed whether there will be another series yet but Sunday won't be the same without it -gripping stuff.
I've read a few reports that H will be identified on Sunday. Also, the actor that played Dot Cotton has said it will have a sad ending with some hearts broken so not looking forward to that.
they have to wrap up a lot of stuff in a short space of time
1) will steve get sacked due to hos drug addiction
2) what did he find out about "the gaffer"
3) why did kate run off after shooting ryan
4)what's under the floor?
5)Who is the top man (and are they going to get "him")
6)the future of ac12
I don't think there will be another series. I believe Martin Compston is contracted for long term filming on other projects. And I suspect he will be dismissed from the force for failing drug tests. Ted Hastings has already told you who 'H' is. The Chief Constable, in league with the officer taking over from Hastings. Can't remember her name. Good innit!? :o)
The thing about a programme like this is that there has to be a feel good factor about certain characters. I think it's fair to say that Ted Hastings gives that feeling, so you would expect him to be there if there is going to be another series. Hastings' replacement certainly doesn't give that feeling does she? In my humble opinion, episode 7 is the end of the Line of Duty!
Steve found out Hastings had grassed up John Corbett to Lee Banks, and gave dodgy money to his widow Steph.
Kate ran because OCG were trying to kill her AC 12 had benen taken over by Carmichael and possibly OCG.
