Does anybody agree with Sarah stopping Adam from being a donor for Peter ? Does anybody know exactly how that works ?

How does what work, Shirley? I haven't seen last night's but in the last episode I watched Sarah talked about out of being a donor.

No, I meant how does a 'living donor' work ? Sarah has persuaded him to not go ahead, but I'm wondering what fans think of that ...

I don’t think she ‘persuaded’ him, they just had a good chat about it as any couple would do and she expressed her concerns. If he’d really, really wanted to go ahead it wouldn’t have mattered what she said.
That’s my view on it anyhow.

I'm all for it, some people are genorous enough to donate a kidney to a total stranger. The risks are extremely low if you are healthy enough to donate a kidney and you potentially save a life.

I can see why loved ones might not be so keen for the relative to give up a kidney, though.

I watched that episode and at first I was annoyed with Sarah for trying to change Adam's mind as a life was at stake but really Adam should stand up for what he believes in.

What happened to Seb's organs?
Didn't Vera donate one of her kidney's and Tracy had a kidney transplant years ago
Carla had one of Aidans kidneys .
This storyline has been played out a few times on Corrie.
I think it should be Adam's decision .

I would much rather she had supported him in his decision to help a family member. She should have kept quiet except to say she was proud of him. At that's my opinion for what it's worth! And I ain't changing it;-))

I haven't seen last night's yet either but from what I remember Adam had doubts himself. Daniel talked him into offering himself to be a donor. He felt he owed it to Peter after sleeping with Carla. So it's understandable that he will need time to weigh everything up and decide for himself. If he was really committed to the idea then no-one would be able to talk him out of it.

Your liver regenerates so you can donate a part of your liver.
