..............whilst the main event is going on behind the "experts". They have 15 mins of talking and 5 mins of action
The next thing will be a panel of pundits during the Proms season.
Well Sir Simon, what did you think of that performance?
I thought they played well as team, Gary. Some really good individual performances there. I thought the violins held it together at the front.......

It's against the law to criticize the aBBC on AB.
Lol, sure. The most visceral criticism of the BBC I've seen comes from the left.
i think they are biased in their reporting supporting Labour type issues more often or not.
Haven't watched any Olympics.
Used to love it when I was younger.
I watched some of the proms last year and there were conversations about what was to come with Katie Derham. Not quite as you envisage though, clarion.

Richard Baker used to do a preamble didn't he? The proms isn't the point though. It's the fact that the BBC thinks it has to talk to people whilst the main event is going on behind the interviews, as with Remembrance Sunday, where Sophie Raworth is speaking to someone whilst the main parade passes by.
Just the BBC?
If Clarion were a little more "with it" ie better informed, he would know why there is a lot less live action being transmitted by BBC this Olympics...it's easy enough to find out.
Question Author
My point isn't about the action, recorded or live. It's about the talking. The BBC would still be interviewing people all the time, even if it had full access to all live events. Don't be so presumptuous, Ginge! Thanks for the replies folks. :o)
