I'm very relieved that DCI Sinead O'Connor's face came into my mind when I was going through the scenes in my memory.

Obviously Covid has put one giant spanner inti the normal works, Barry, and they would have been just as well not airing any until they could do all 6 on a weekly basis. Those in charge obviously did not watch the recent series of Baptiste to se how not to do things :-/
And the fact Vera is about 80 in real life and the old Bill retire when they are 55 or younger (30 years service) doesn't help. Yes, I know Morse and Frost outstayed their police pension but still............is Vera really credible?
