Nobody seems to be laughing at the UK in either the French or German MSM, in fact I detect an undercurrent of seething resentment & in certain quarters envy that the UK has had the temerity (& guts) to get out of their failing 'united States of Europe' project.

Countries like Poland & Hungary would exit like a shot if it wasn't for the fact that they are big-time net recipients of large quantities of dosh raised from other EU taxpayers hard-earned money.
