It quite blood thirsty and very violent, its a very strange korean series but also pretty good.

We watched it for about 15 minutes and gave up.
Very, very, very strange series.
Here's the trailer for anyone who might be interested. (It's not got me rushing to subscribe to Netflix though!):
Quite an oversight to put a real phone number into the programme ...

Netflix says it will edit out a phone number that appears in its hit series Squid Game after a woman said she was deluged by calls to her mobile phone.

The gory South Korean drama sees cash-strapped contestants invited to ring the number to take part in life-and-death children's games for money.

The woman said the number actually came through to her phone - and she had been inundated with requests to play.

I gave it about 20 mins of the first episode - up to the point he signs the contract with his thumbprint. Definitely not my cup of tea.
Just watched the trailer and I think I'll give it a miss. I know it's not real but it looks terrifying and I remember watching a film with a similar theme.

Was it Cube? it seems to have a similar pretence. I have Netflix, so I might give it a look. The Koreans do great horrors.
Don't think it was that, Mozz. Could've been a TV series even. It was basically people knowing they were going to be bumped off whilst being forced to take part in something.
Just watched the trailer - the ultimate in disgustingly bad taste, so no thank you.

But a lot more brutal ^
Canary- //the ultimate in disgustingly bad taste//

Someone here hasn't seen The Human Centipede or Meet The Feebles then.
"basically people knowing they were going to be bumped off whilst being forced to take part in something"
the hunger games? the running man?
Wasn't the prospect of violence and goriness that put me off. It was the utter 'naffness'.
