Take care of things around you....
Take care of your things.....
But how and where did you lost it?
Yes, I crawled into my jimmies, (warmed by the fire), and huddled behind Mum, peeping out through my fingers. Definitely '50s. The scariest bit of all was when the man fell, seeking sanctuary, on the gravel path approaching the church door ----- then the gravel started rippling with unseen footprints. Still remember it and it scares me!
That was to Pat and Mozz ^^^
Re. Dr. Who, I watched with Wm. Hartnell, then Patrick Troughton and then Jon Pertwee. Loved it and all of them.
Then Tom Baker lost me.... I remember when... a deserted spaceship and he was going on about the 'smell of death' and I realised that it was unnecessarily scaremongering (well, it was to me) and I gave up.
Sonic was 6 when I watched Quatermass, and your words about warmed up PJ's took me right back to being at my grandparents watching it on their TV in their cosy lounge. And 16,Mozz, and first year at college when Dr Who emerged and was more interested in parties and fellas than Dr Who!
Sonic ? I typed 'I was', well thought I did!
Quite enjoying the new series. Bishop is providing the humour - much needed in present times. The alien race trying to save mankind are the Luparians - fittingly dog-like creatures, ergo mans best friend.
As for 'Wokeism' - well, at the moment, and unless i have it all wrong (quite possible), it appears to be both a bit 'Woke' and 'anti-Woke'. The Flux, devouring planets faster than i can shift a Turkish Delight, appears to represent 'Climate Change' while the Sontorans are hell-bent on re-writing Earth's history. The good old Doctor is trying to prevent both. Hurrah!
As for "How many times can the Doctor save the world?" As many times as it takes, fortunately. Superman is too busy saving America.
i like it...
Seems now they just throw everything in and hope for the best
