Late 80's TV Movie about Terrorist and Nuke Threat
4 Answers
I'm trying to find the title of a TV movie I caught late one night on ITV in the late 80's. It was filmed in a cinema verite style and used different types and grades of video medium to convey the look of a live on the spot broadcast. It concerned a Live TV film crew investigating the takeover of a boat by some terrorists who threatened to explode a Nuke. The film was chillingly realistic and the culmination was quite shocking. Does anyone else remember it as I can find no trace of it?

"Special Bulletin" from 1983 starring Ed Flanders and Christopher Allport amongst others. It was overshadowed by the film "The day after" which was similar and came out at the same time.
