Thanks, both. I could understand technicial problems if the programme was live but it was recorded months ago. I hope they show that episode on Monday as it will be the contestant's 8th appearance - that's about as exciting as my life gets
No. I have a wife and am responsible for two aged relatives who have a tendency to leak over the soft furnishings - not quite as cute as puppies. Are you looking for a job?
There were continuing problems at Channel 4 due to a fire at Red Bee Media in late September - breaks in transmission, lack of subtitles, etc. I doubt Friday's show will be broadcast at the regular time on Monday as the end-of-series finals start soon. On All4 maybe?
barry, the continuity announcer said "...and in a change of listings we now have Find it, Fix It, Flog It." Your boy is not guilty!
If Rachel does not appear on Monday's programme then I will surmise it was her responsibility. I know they record on 3 days of the week. It is 4 weeks since Rachel was delivered of her 2nd child and I have been wondering how many episodes they have in hand. I presume with no expert available the programme could have been cancelled at very short notice.
They usually record 5 shows in a day, i.e. a week's worth. If Rachel (say) had gone into childbirth or someone had been taken ill between the recording of the 4th and 5th episodes that day I suspect one of the production team would have stood in.
More likely that another technical issue led to the programme not being broadcast.
barry, did you notice that Susie was missing all of last week because she was "covid testing"? Well she was back in today's programme so that suggests/confirms that 5 days' programmes were canned in the one day ;)
