Sort of looked at the line up of who was on last night and it mentioned Majella O'Donnell but I had missed the start but was able to watch a re-run today and no Majella.

I've just watched the start of the show from last night on the RTÉ player and she was mentioned as appearing later.

I did sorta run through the prog a few times - and it was the same guests. Colin Farrell and Majella was supposed to appear but Majella was to appear with Daniel for his 60th last week so I thought it would have been her last night.

It was just a video link from her own home, she was only on a few minutes. The show was raising money for St Vincent de Paul society and she briefly talked about that

I contacted Sally Army last week re a donation and they said they said they split the money with St Vincent de Paul.

Ermmm - I am a little against STVP - as my friend volunteered there here in the north for a while but couldn't believe how many greedy people turned up. She recalls a mother asking for a washing machine or something like that and then her mother coming in for the same thing. This was some years back so I hope there is some way of honesty.

I've heard that too, jenny. Apparently you can't question if someone is really in need, you are relying on people's honesty which can be in short supply at times!
