That's what radio presenters do. Each day they choose a topic so that listeners can interact with the programme by emailing/texting/whetevering. And, if they're very lucky, they'll get their names read out loud on t'radio. Whoopeedoo.
one of the children said he wanted "a foot slider", which turned out to be a shoe horn. !! Can anyone else remember what the other item he was asking for was please? Ive been racking my brain ever since.
Another little boy said he would like £200 please Santa and could he have it all in fivers . LOL
Just typical of pre Christmas TV, rubbish, gushing and yesterday on GMTV breakfast a debate on f@rting.
Small talk and back slapping predominates today particularly, in my opinion on AB.
Old folks alone at Christmas...many prefer to be alone.....visiting your "loved ones"...probably the first visit of the year.
I wondered if anyone here heard that item. Another boy said he didnt want any toys this christmas but just vouchers for their local chinese takeaway!LOL
I came across a YouTube video the other day, where a little by was writing out his list for Santa very carefully indeed. It had just three things on it and read as follows:
1. Boat
2. Sperm whale
3. World peace
I think his parents might have fun sorting that lot out on behalf of Santa!
I suspect most ABers don't listen to Ms. Ball.
She gabbles way too fast and treats listeners as if they were teenagers. She epitomises what's wrong with Radio 2 now.
Can't stand the woman but at least they have all stopped gushing about Strictly. I prefer the sixties music stations, where they don't seem to have much chat in between.
